What we collect
When you sign up, we collect the email address and YouTube channel URL you give us. From your YouTube channel URL, we look up publicly available information about your channel and recent videos using the YouTube Data API — things like your channel name, description, subscriber count (when public), and recent video titles, view counts, and durations. We do not ask for or store your YouTube password, and we never request access to your Google/YouTube account.
Why we collect it
We use your email to send you the daily TrendingBrew email. We use your public channel data to figure out your content niche, analyze what's working on your channel, find relevant trends, and generate the personalized recommendations in that email. We also record basic product usage events (like signing up or opening an email) so we can tell whether TrendingBrew is actually useful.
Who sees it
Your data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and used to send email through our email provider (Resend), and processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your recommendations. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscriber record and recent channel snapshots for as long as you're subscribed, so we can keep generating relevant daily emails. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and stop analyzing your channel going forward.
Your choices
Every email includes an unsubscribe link that immediately and permanently stops future emails — no login required. You can also email us to request that your data be deleted entirely.
